New Mexico Mule Deer

Located in South Central New Mexico in the foothills of the Sacramento Mountains. We have some great Mule Deer.

Here is a very heavy horned and tall Mule Deer taken with a bow this year.

New Mexico Elk

This picture is of a bugling bull during rut.
He was a mad elk.
Luckily that fence was there or I would have been chased up a tree.

Barbary Sheep

This sheep's score is still pending but it is one of the largest we have taken on the ranch.  He was taken by Corky Ullom the high bid winner at the Grand Slam/Ovis convention. 

More Mule Deer

This is a respectable Mule Deer.
It was taken with my Cuddyback Camera at night.
I set the camera up around alfalfa hay bales
and it takes care of finding some of the best animals.

Hunting Lodge

This is the Hunting Lodge. Great place for hunters to tell lies
and dream about getting the big one. Built next to the Rio Feliz
and nestled within a grove of wild walnut trees.
This place is great. All the deer in this picture were taken here.
